What We Believe
We believe Jesus is who he says he is:
Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30)
Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
Jesus also said, I am the bread of life, I am the light of the world, I am the door of the sheep, I am the good shepherd, I am the resurrection and the life, I am the true vine. (Gospel of John)
We believe Scripture is what it says it is:
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the people of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
We believe we are who Scripture says we are:
God created humanity in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:23-24)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
